Beekeeping courses

We live in

Friendship with bees

We run ecological demonstration apiaries in Małopolska, located between two mountain ranges. We are surrounded by numerous forests, meadows and fields, which we cultivate together with local farmers. Nearby there is a manor park, where over 130-year-old trees grow, including linden trees. Almost 40 years ago, my father founded the first apiary in Toporzysko. At that time, he planted many mellow plants in our area. All this makes our bees safe and provides them with access to diverse and natural sources of food. This results in high-quality honey, pollen and bee bread. The propolis from our forest apiary is exceptionally pure, and our customers praise its health properties.
We promote

sustainable beekeeping

We do not focus on obtaining record amounts of honey, although this can of course be purchased in our online store. Similarly to the equipment and beekeeping teaching aids designed by us. Our main task is to promote knowledge about sustainable beekeeping and to raise awareness of how important bees are in our daily functioning. By organizing workshops and courses, we want to introduce people interested in the world of beekeeping, share with them our experience in setting up and running an apiary, and at the same time tell them about off-grid life far from the big city.
We conduct

Sensory analyses of honey

We have a collection of over 100 honeys from Polish and foreign apiaries. Their tasting is not only a feast for the palate. Thanks to it, we are able to teach how to recognize and appreciate the best types of honey in the world. We also teach what food products are best to combine individual honeys with. We are able to open new culinary horizons for cooking enthusiasts. We gained this knowledge in an Italian institute associating experts in sensory analysis of honey. In addition, cooperation with people from the world of science allows us to constantly improve beekeeping equipment and spread apitherapy in Poland. You can get to know who and what we are currently working on on our BLOG.

Your Beehive with us!

We bring you

closer to the world of bees

We have managed to create a place that is friendly not only to bees, but also to people. In the shadow of our wooden cottage, where we live every day, we are happy to host entire families. We know how to safely introduce children to the world of nature. Our several-year-old daughter actively participates in workshops and meetings with her peers. For them, this is often the first such close, tangible contact with the countryside and nature. Thanks to our location away from the main roads, in addition to the buzzing of bees, you can hear farm animals and birdsong every day. Meeting a horse pulling a cart of hay is not uncommon, and it remains in your memory for a long time. It is worth visiting us with your whole family, e.g. while on holiday in Jordanów, Rabka Zdrój, Zawoja or Maków Podhalański.
We support

Running your own apiary

We also invite people who want to take their first step in the profession of beekeeper. They will be able to see him at work live and see if this is really the right job for them. We will advise, among others, how to choose a place for the first hive, what accessories are necessary and how much it costs to set up an apiary. You can also set up your own hive with us – we will support you in running it. We are happy to help people who want to deepen their knowledge, seek professional advice or exchange experiences. What to feed bees with in the spring, how to fight varroa, what can be done to prevent swarming – these are just a few examples of questions that we will certainly answer. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the detailed offer of our COURSES.
